One Bitaxe.
Thirty days.
A receipt.
Can a small, observable stream of energy be followed all the way from wall power to workshares, QUAI earned, and the market value attached to it?
The instrument
has two outputs.
Not a profitability promise. A measurement loop with a public boundary and a predeclared falsifier.

What gets recorded.
One device. One smart plug. One QUAI wallet. Thirty consecutive days, with gaps and failures retained rather than polished away.
Metered energy
Instantaneous watts, cumulative kWh, joules, runtime, and implied electricity cost at the declared tariff.
Work submitted
Hashrate, accepted and rejected workshares, timestamps, pool or node endpoint, and miner uptime.
Reward and price
QUAI rewards, wallet receipts, timestamped market price, energy cost per QUAI, and the exact calculation path.
The small laboratory.

Bitaxe Gamma
An open-source SHA-256 ASIC platform. The retail listing currently describes the Gamma 602 at roughly 1.2 TH/s and 15–18 W stock; the experiment will measure the actual unit, not borrow that claim.
Kasa KP115
A smart plug with energy monitoring. The manufacturer specifies real-time and historical consumption tracking; it becomes the independent wall-side measurement.
$250 to make the invisible countable.
The proposed target covers one Bitaxe-class miner, one energy-monitoring plug, shipping or power accessories, and the first month of electricity. Any remainder is carried into the next measurement period or disclosed in the receipt.
